Earth Smoothie: A Fresh Blend for Earth Day

Every April 22, Earth Day reminds us to take a small step toward a more sustainable lifestyle. This year, we made a smoothie with that thought in mind.

The Earth Smoothie is made with celery, cucumber, banana, and matcha, blended in the Kuvings CB1000 to create a smooth, vibrant green drink. 

Ingredients (1 serving / approx. 400–450 ml)

For the Smoothie:

  • 1 stalk of celery (about 50 g)
  • 1/3 cucumber (about 70 g)
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tsp matcha powder (about 2 g)
  • 200 ml milk
  • 4–6 ice cubes
  • 1 tsp honey or allulose

For the Cup Decoration:

  • 2 tbsp coconut cream
  • A pinch of spirulina powder

Instructions

  1. Wash the celery and cucumber thoroughly, then cut them into pieces.
  2. Add the celery, cucumber, and banana into the CB1000 blender.
  3. Add the matcha powder and milk, then put in the ice cubes.
  4. Blend until completely smooth.

Cup Decoration

  1. Mix the coconut cream with a small amount of spirulina powder until you get a soft green tint.
  2. Using a brush or the back of a spoon, gently spread the mixture along the inside walls of your cup.
  3. Slowly pour in the smoothie to reveal the layered, earth-toned effect.

This Earth Day, celebrate with Kuvings.

Blend the Earth Smoothie with the CB1000, then top it with crushed chocolate cookies to mimic soil. Add a sprig of rosemary and a few edible flowers, and your little earth is complete. Your own planet, right in a cup. Try making it at home this Earth Day.
